Introduction to Microsoft FrontPage
Microsoft Office FrontPage is a Web page authoring and site management program, that allows users to create and manage Web sites without programming. FrontPage lets you edit a Web
page both visually (WYSIWYG) and by editing the actual HTML
code.
The FrontPage Workspace
The FrontPage workspace consists of a variety of features to help you work efficiently. It contains a title bar, status bar, a menu bar, a toolbar, and a task pane that displays different content, depending on the current view.
Views
On the left side of the Front Page desktop is the Views panel, where you select the view of the web site site to be displayed in the main FrontPage window. When you first create a new Web site, FrontPage is displayed in Folders view. Other views are displayed by clicking on the buttons, as described in the following table.
