Project 11: Flash Show and Tell
Flash animation is a new form of electronic media. As such, it is developing its own aesthetic
or sense of what works and what doesn't work on the Web.
The objective of this assignment is to analyze an example of Flash media. Feel free to review the information in the
web aesthetics section
of this web site.
Your main task will be to find one example of Flash animation found on the Internet and use this example to
discuss Web aesthetics, pointing out successful and/or unsucessful
uses of this type of Web media.
After locating a Flash animation that you like you must:
- complete a written analysis of the Flash document, and
- present your comments and analysis in class to your peers
You may not use any of the Flash examples that were provided as part of Lesson 1, and no games may be used for this analysis. We will assemble a separate page of recommended game links for students to share.
